DCYA Event

Four of our pupils were selected to represent the school at an event held in the Department of Education in Marlborough Street, Dublin, on Wednesday, October 9^th. They were: Deimante, 3rd Class, Mya 4th Class, Angel ,  5th Class and Melisa, 6th Class. The girls were taking part in a special children’s consultation on the topic of teacher supply in schools which was organised by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA)  in conjunction with the Teaching Council and the Department of Education and Skills. The girls, who were accompanied by Mrs Gallagher and Mrs Treanor, all reported that they had thoroughly enjoyed their outing to Dublin and the whole experience of the consultation.
