Congratulations to our 2nd class girls who celebrated their First Holy Communion in St Macartans’s Cathedral on Saturday 14th May at 11am. Sincere thanks to our school chaplain, Canon Paddy McGinn, who officiated at the ceremony and to the girls’ teachers Mrs Cunningham, Ms. Clerkin and Ms. Brady for preparing them so well.
We are also grateful to Mrs Gallagher and our 5th class choir who sang so beautifully on the day and who were accompanied by musicians Gerard Toal (keyboard) and Muireann Harraghy (harp). Special thanks to former member of staff ,Mrs Healy, who provided the lovely floral arrangements for the altar.
