Today in St Macartan’s Cathedral, we enjoyed a beautiful ceremony for our First Holy Communion cailíní and a celebration back in our school.
Thank you to our girls and their families, who made today a truly special day for our school community. Many thanks to our celebrant, Canon Paddy McGinn, for his uplifting and meaningful ceremony.
Heartfelt thanks to our dedicated teachers, Mrs B Treanor and Mrs Macklin, for their tireless efforts to prepare the children so well, in prayer and song.
Míle buíochas to our choir lead, Mrs Gallagher, who directed the children for their important role in our mass.
Thank you to Mrs R Treanor for her assistance during the ceremony and our gathering afterwards. Thank you to Mrs Dowd and Ms Mullen for their help with our post ceremony celebration back in our school. We are so grateful to you all for your efforts and the generosity with your time for our school community.
